Here's a swatch with two colors of Moda Dea Cartwheel. http://www.modadea.com The pinker half is in Neapolitan, and the reddish brown half is in Bronzeberry. It's the same stitch, I just continued with the second color so that I could see what each one did.
It's not just a shadow cast over the swatch. This is the same stitch pattern that you saw yesterday in the Caron Felt it. It has a great landscape type feel, don't you think? The Cartwheel, before felting, does have an inconsistent width to it, it gets thicker then thinner. Part of it's appeal!
Chief starts preschool this morning, if I have more time later, I'll try to write more.
