Chullo Hat and Gloves PDF now available!

You first saw it in Interweave Crochet Winter 2008 and now it's available for individual PDF for $6.00

Happy New Year Everyone! I'm headed to Jazzercise this morning, do you think it will be crowded? We took the kids to see the Chipmunks Squeakuel last night. Chief just loves them.

I've been wanting to see the chipmunks myself. They're so cute!

Happy New Year!

Hi there and Happy New Year! I just bought this pattern yesterday, and I just love it, I think it is so unisex and very attractive. My son just asked for this type of hat, they are very popular at his hi-school and this pattern fits the bill. He's already asked me to make one to match for his 'gal-pal'...however I have one problem...I don't know how to do the tapestry stitch. Is there a video you can recommend that I might watch to learn how to accomplish this stitch? Thank you so much!

Thanks JaRon, Here's a link to Carol Ventura's website with video and tutorials. http://tapestrycrochet.com/

But, my pattern is in hdc, so it's the same premise: In the notes section of the pattern is says:

When working tapestry crochet sections, work half the stitch, then pull through, completing the stitch with the new color. Work over unused yarn (do not float).

So, for a hdc in tapestry, using the MC, yo, insert hook, drop MC, yo with the CC and pull through all 3 loops on hook, yo, insert hook, drop CC, yo with the MC and pull through all 3 loops on hook. Two sts have now been made, one in MC and one in CC. If you still need help let me know and I'll see if I can make a video.
All the best,
Ellen.
