TNNA Part 2

I arrived in Columbus, Ohio early Saturday morning, just in time for Robyn Chachula's class "Beyond the afghan". It was a great class and a good way to start the conference. Robyn talked about symbol diagrams and how to read them. These diagrams are the basis for her new book Blueprint Crochet, which you can link to on the right of the blog page. She covered points I was anxious to hear about making half motifs, and how to join them so that you can't tell where one ends and the other begins. Robyn and I actually live near each other, and she's so much fun. Hi Robyn!

Ellen- that orange halter top looks divine on you!!! Though you have a cardi covering it, from what I can see it looks great!

Thanks Lisa, actually the blue cardigan looks great when the one button is buttoned. There is waist shaping, but it is all lost in the picture above of me with my backpack on pulling it down and it started getting warm.... after all it is July in OHIO! The halter top is fun, but it takes alot of confidence to wear! I ran out of confidence by mid-afternoon and switched to another sweater that you will see in tomorrows? post.
