Spare stuff I want to share

I have a few photos I want to share with you. First, now that Chickee and Chief are both in school, here are their first day photos:

This is Chickee on her first day of 1st Grade. (age 6)

And here is Chief on his first day of pre-school. (age 4)

And while we wait for Chickee to get off the school bus in the afternoon, this is what Charlie has been up to:

Yes, he is rolling in the dirt. We do not have landscaping yet around the house, and with the severe drought we are in, it didn't seem like a good idea to put any in this year.

Now, here's the tie-in to crochet:

A very loose tie-in: Here is Charlie, all filthy from his roll in the dirt, rolling again, on the white cloth that I use to place my crochet stuff on when I photograph it. Maybe his new blog code-name should be Pigpen, for when I pet him, plumes of dirt can be seen wafting around him. Back to crochet on the next post.
