The
Marly Bird Designer Dinner was great! Here's the back of
Marly giving a door prize to designer
April Garwood. I should back up. Dinner itself was probably the best convention dinner I have ever had. There was salad, plenty of yummy steamed vegetables, a great chicken in light sauce, people raved over the rolled egg plant dish... all great. The only thing missing was chocolate, but knowing that I was going to get my chocolate cake at some point in the weekend I felt GREAT to get fresh berries with whipped cream for a dessert. (Not every night can be a chocolate cake night...)

At dinner, I got to sit with the lovely Heather Zoppetti, owner and designer of
Stitch Sprouts. Here she's showing that she just won a table price of a little
Chic-a gadget tray full of yarn samples.
