Knit and Crochet Show

I likely won't post again until Monday afternoon. While you wait, look at these pretty flowers. I know someone will immediately recognize what they are. They were at a house we visited for a party this past weekend. I love the variation of the colors within the same bush. Really beautiful. Next week I'll be posting about all the Knit and Crochet Show fun. I'm going to try to ignore the computer while I'm gone.

Those are called hydrangeas - the color of the flower depends on the pH of the soil they are planted in. They are so beautiful!! I wish I had some at my house!

See you at the conference!
Safe trip!

Hi~ I hope the Knit and Crochet show was super fun! I'd love to attend something like that, but I live "in back of the beyond" AKA a small rural town in Georgia, and would have to drive a good distance to find one.

I love Hydrangas also. The color differences happen due to the acidity of the soil. If you dump coffee grounds on the ground under the bush, the flowers will turn a beautiful darker blue. Regardless of the color, they're a beautiful flowering plant~

I adore hydrangas. I collect them and have 10 varieties now! All shades of whites to deep purples and the pinks and blues in between.
Ellen, nice meeting you at Chain Link 2010. I very much enjoyed your insights on organization during the break-out session in PDD.
Hope to see you again at another conference or if your ever in my neck of the woods, Cape Cod.
