Little Boy Blue...

....come blow your horn,

there's a ring in the bathtub,

your mother with mourn,
Why did you choose
to color your feet?
you were bored when mama thought
you were fast asleep...
An ode to the re-birth of the Smurf, in honor of Chief, age 5.

My, don't you look good in blue! :)
How long did it take you to wash that off? Or is it going to have to wear off on its own?

Your new mosaic afghan is beautiful.

No, it's still on there! I tried soap, shaving cream, hairspray, hand sanitizer, toothpaste, shampoo, baby oil.... he's just going to have to stay blue for a while. Thank goodness it's winter and he can wear long pants!

Look what happens when I take one day away from reading your blog!!! That looks like marker to me - the big fat permanent kind that my Princess used to "paint" her nails (and hands and arms!) A long playtime (~1hour) in the tub with lots of bubble bath went a long way towards fading it enough to live with until the rest wore off. Good luck! The Mosaic is amazing!!! Congrats!

When I asked him why, he just said, "I don't know", but I suspect he was trying to look like Spiderman. Yesterday I tried some nail polish remover, which seemed to work more than anything else, but I was worried about hurting his skin and he wasn't sitting still very well, so I gave up. so we are on day 4 with blue legs. I should take another photo at one week to show you how much it has faded!

Oh yeah, it was a "Sharpie" marker, permanent of course, that he got out of my postal/mailing supply basket.
