Sunny Spread to Sand dollar

I finished the Sunny Spread in white, for my friend Susan's granddaughter. I think in honor of the white, it should be renamed the "Sand dollar blanket". The blanket was originally published in Jan/Feb 2008 Crochet Today. Several people have made the blanket, link here on Ravelry for the project pages. I can't help it, I just love this pattern. It's one of the best ones I have ever done. I love the simplicity and the texture. I feel like this blanket is definitive of my style.

Gorgeous in white! I noticed the Sunny Spread right away in that issue & want to make one of my own, whenever I get "caught up", (ha,ha, right?) Beautiful work, I'm a big fan!

Wow how stunning this is. I checked out the Ravelry site and love the bag that was made from this pattern. I have got to try this one soon.

It's really special, and if the designer herself says it's representative of her style, then very cool!

This design may be just the thing to push me past my motif phobia! I also checked out the Ravelry page and loved all the other uses for the design - what a clever bunch we are!! Have a great day! :o) Haley

Oh this is absolutely gorgeous! I'm picky about squares, and this one has really caught my attention. I have some mint green Simply Soft that I'm thinking would look sooooo pretty!
