National Crochet Month: Giveaways Galore!

Thank you for stopping at GoCrochet on the Crochet Month Blog Tour!

I am your host, Ellen Gormley. If you don't know me or are new to the blog, I'm the editor of Crochet! Magazine.   I also have a blog on the Crochet! Magazine site: Behind the Hook. Read all the way to the bottom because there are giveaways going on that I want to tell you about.

Can I offer you a virtual snack?

(my favorite cheeseball)

While you are here, I'd like to offer you a chance to win a PRIZE PACK or a FREE PATTERN! So I have TWO giveaways going here:

First for the PRIZE PACK: Leave a comment on THIS POST, with your name, last initial and either a city or something so I can identify you. If you are a Ravelry member, you can leave your Ravelry name, then it will be easier for me to track you down if you win. The prize pack giveaway is open to US Residents (as I will be mailing the package). I'll randomly select a winner from the comments. International friends please stay tuned to your digital giveaway below.

Second for the International Friends Prize Pack: International friends (Outside of the US) You may Enter to win
1. A link to access one of my Annie's Online Classes! (The same choices as above)
2. I'll send you a copy of my most popular DRIFTWOOD CAP pattern.
To enter, comment on THIS POST with your first name, or Ravelry name if you have one, and the word "INTERNATIONAL FRIEND". I'll randomly select a winner.

Both winners will be announced on Thursday, March 31, here on this blog, so come back to hear if you have won. Again, if you leave a Ravelry name, I'll also message you there.

Here's a photo of the Driftwood Cap:

While you are here, please check out the posts earlier this week. There is another GIVEAWAY on the Power Purls Podcast with the interview I did with Podcaster and Creative Knitting Editor, Kara Gott Warner. Check out the Post about the Power Purls Podcast. I think it may be the BEST interview I have done. Lots of inspiration, lots of tips about making it in the crochet business.

LASTLY: Please VOTE on the right sidebar for your dream crochet vacation destination!

Happy Crochet Month everyone!

Hi, My name on Ravelry is GrnIdGrl. I would love to take the class explaining the crochet symbols. On Pinterest I see many beautiful items from Japan and Russia and they use the symbols instead of written out instructions. I would love to make some of the lovely items I have seen. Thanks for the give away.

I'd love to win the prize pack -- I actually have both of the books checked out of the library right now as I like using the library to pre-screen things I want to buy to see if they are worth it (and these definitely are). I'll wait a few days and see if I win now. It looks like blogger is going to use my gmail name to post this, and that is the same as my ravelry name.

Ellen, What a great interview! Thanks for sharing about "doing what you already do", and perseverance...
Thank you also for the generous giveaway. My Ravelry name is "a-crochet", I live in Florida, USA, and I would like the "Learn Bead Crochet" online class.
Just so you know, I have followed "Knit and Crochet Now" on Create for a couple of years...I have to get up rather early to catch it, though, but it is worth it. I wondered if you all made your own samples! :)
I love what you are doing to spread the Crochet love (no hating of knitting here...just can't get the hang of it; however I have mixed Tunisian and regular crochet...lots of fun...imagine mixing knit and crochet would also be good for the brain and soul!)--Keep it up!

I also watch and enjoy "Knit and Crochet Now", and wondered who did your samples for the demonstrations!
By the way, I think combining knit and crochet together in a single pattern is a great idea.
