Stitching in the car

l
Crochet, crochet in the car, (but not while driving!), crochet at home, at the soccer games, at volleyball practice, out by the campfire.  I crochet every spare minute. Back to it!  What's the oddest place you have ever crocheted!  Some of the stories I have heard over the years are:  while riding on the back of a motorcycle (Cathy), while walking (Anna), while driving a riding lawnmower (Tammy), and while sitting in a raft in the swimming pool! (Tammy, I've seen photos!)

My husband thinks it's hysterical that I can crochet in the convertible going down the highway at 60+ mph. I'm like you though. I crochet everywhere, including my sons wrestling matches.

I crocheted all around Disney one year. I don't handle crowds well and it kept me calm. My sister even got a picture of me standing in line at Soarin' with barely any light, crocheting a sock. :)

My daughter crochets during school. Her teachers have become used to it. Back when I was agile I'd crochet while sitting a tree in our yard.

When I first learned how to crochet, I spent every spare minute. I even was crocheting, walking through Wal*Mart, pushing a shopping cart! =)

I crochet on the treadmill and I know Marty crochets on the incumbent bike.

I have knitted while driving... only because I can knit without looking at it... and I was stuck in rush hour traffic anyway. :)

The crocheting on the treadmill idea is brilliant!!! I'm going to try that!

I work in a call center and when I'm listening to a customer and not typing, I'm knitting or crocheting. :)

I think the oddest place I've crocheted though must be riding around in a dune buggy in the desert though... complete with goggles to keep sand out of my eyes. :)

When I was a bus driver I crocheted while waiting for the kids to get on the bus at the schools.

As someone else here said, I too work in a call center and crochet or attempt to knit (still learning) between calls. Keeps me from getting fidgety.

I crochet in the car, (when in waiting for people)I have crocheted in the mall (waiting for someone to come out of a store) At the library ( the librarian and I compare projects every so often)

in the movie theater... I can't just sit and watch the movie because I just can't sit still and it keeps me from wiggling around.
