Before I left for the office, I snapped a pic of my Rosedale Scarf. 

Meditation

When I need a break from crochet, I like to knit in the round. I find it very meditative. I tried a new yarn (new to me) ... Ella Rae Seasons. And since I can't stay away from crochet for long, I added a crochet edging. This yarn is a chainette construction and the extremely long color changes are great for crochet. I think this cowl is going to look great with my pale pink coat.

It's 1 degree outside but I went on the porch to take a selfie anyway. 

Broomstick Conclusion

I don't think I told you that I actually finished the black Broomstick Shawlette for Chickee's BFF.  I'm so proud of myself for getting it done on time! 

And she likes it! Woohoo! Spreading the crochet love.

Knit Night!

I knit in the round while sitting on a crocheted blanket as Minnie tugs at the yarn and Chickee practices keyboard. Life is sweet.

Chickee gets the lecture
