BTW, I found a bunch of posts that I thought I had posted from my phone... but apparently they never posted. Also, it seems that I type very poorly on my phone leading to many typos. Lesson learned.
When I need a break from crochet, I like to knit in the round. I find it very meditative. I tried a new yarn (new to me) ... Ella Rae Seasons. And since I can't stay away from crochet for long, I added a crochet edging. This yarn is a chainette construction and the extremely long color changes are great for crochet. I think this cowl is going to look great with my pale pink coat.
It's 1 degree outside but I went on the porch to take a selfie anyway.
I don't think I told you that I actually finished the black Broomstick Shawlette for Chickee's BFF. I'm so proud of myself for getting it done on time!
And she likes it! Woohoo! Spreading the crochet love.
Chickee gets her wisdom teeth out over Christmas break. Here she is watching the "warnings" video of all the bad things that could happen because of surgery.... great.... (insert sarcasm font here).
I admit, my blogging pretty much fell apart in November. Life ebbs and flows, doesn't it?
Well... This happened...
And... This happened...
Father /daughter dance at school.
And this happened...
Chief in the State soccer tournament.
And this happened...
Chickee at the early premiere of Mockingjay Part 2.
And this happened...
Chief went to camp with school.
So, I guess we have been busy. Now, I need to wind some yarn because I found a crochet-worthy person for a Christmas gift this year. More on that later!
